League Structure

Format:

• Players: Open to all experience levels.

• Rounds: Each round lasts one week.

• Matchmaking: Swiss-style

• Game Sizes:

  • First month: 1,000 points 

  • Second month: 1,500 points.

  • Third month: 2,000 points.

Flexibility:

• we will hold a designated game nights ( Thursday & Sunday evenings) for players to meet and play their matches.

• players may arrange there match outside of this time however table space is limited on peak days and it is our preference t o have the community together.

League Structure

Format:

• Players: Open to all experience levels.

• Rounds: Each round lasts one week.

• Matchmaking: Swiss-style or narrative-based pairings, depending on the theme.

• Game Sizes:

  • First month: 1,000 points (to ease players in).

  • Second month: 1,500 points.

  • Third month: 2,000 points.

Flexibility:

• Matches can be scheduled by players during the week to suit their availability.

• Bay Games will hold a designated game night (e.g., Thursday evenings) for players to meet and play their matches.

Scoring System

• Win: 3 Points

• Draw: 1 Point

• Loss: 0 Points

• Bonus Points: Earned for objectives like:

  • Completing matches on time (+1 point).

  • Painting and fielding a fully painted army (+1 point per month).

  • Thematic narrative submissions (+1 point).

Themes and Objectives

To add variety, each month can have a special league theme or objective:

Prizes

will be decided based on number of participants but will include trophy's, champions hoodie, vouchers

• League Champion: Highest overall points at the end of the league.

• Best Painted Army: Voted by participants or judged by staff.

• Sportsmanship Award: Most fun and friendly player (voted by peers).

• Best Newcomer: For a first-time league participant who makes a strong impression.

Entry Fee

• Fee: £10 - per player for the league (covering admin, prizes,).

• Table time is not included in league entry
